UAE codes follow British Standards and American engineering standards. Kenyan codes follow British Standards too. For luxury, specify the higher end. C30 concrete instead of C25. B500C steel reinforcement. Waterproof everything below ground. Plenty of Kenyan builders skip the waterproofing. Do not let yours.

Dubai luxury homes do indoor-outdoor living well. Kenya's climate is even better for it. Retractable glass wall onto a veranda. Infinity pool with a view. Landscaped garden with native plants. Same resort feel, better weather.

Don't Try to Run It From Dubai

Many Kenyans in Dubai work in construction or project management. They know enough to be dangerous. The mistake is trying to manage the build while working full time. Hire a project manager. Stay involved at the decision level. Let the team execute. You have a day job.
