The client journey
How the BackHome Process Works
A clearer view of the six stages we use to understand, verify, agree, build, hand over, and manage a remote construction project.
Step 1
Scoping Project Requirements
We turn the first conversation into a working brief that captures the client's goals, priorities, constraints, future-use plans, and the decisions that must be made before technical work begins.
Documents and inputs
- ✓ Land location, plot number, map pin, or nearby landmarks
- ✓ Title deed, allotment letter, lease, sale agreement, or ownership documents available
- ✓ National ID or passport details for the client or legal owner
- ✓ KRA PIN where needed for Kenyan statutory processes
- ✓ Any existing drawings, approvals, surveys, site photos, or previous estimates
- ✓ Target property use, budget range, timeline, and preferred communication contacts
How this stage works
- 1 We hold a discovery call to understand the client's vision, property goals, intended use, and future plans.
- 2 We define the early scope, including the type of building, expected quality level, budget direction, and timeline expectations.
- 3 We identify the key requirements, decision makers, communication preferences, and information needed for the next stage.
- 4 We translate the conversation into a project brief that can guide due diligence, design, costing, and approvals.
